Evenings on the Avoca

Pull up a chair at the river firepit

When the sun drops behind the old river red gums, the communal firepit down on the bank is where the day winds down — swap stories with fellow travellers, toast a marshmallow with the kids, and watch the light do its thing over the water.

It’s one of the favourite corners of the park, and it’s there for everyone staying with us — lit subject to seasonal fire restrictions.
